Hotel Reservations Open Tomorrow
On Tuesday, September 12th at 12:00 PM (noon), hotel reservations will open. To reserve a room go to the main Hotel page.

You may reserve a room at either the Westin, our main hotel, or the Aloft, our overflow hotel. If you need an accessible room with a roll-in shower, a room on a low floor, or have other specific needs, please fill out our Special Request Form after you make your reservation. This form can also be used to request a place on the waitlist if either hotel sells out.

Room reservations at the Westin will require a one-night deposit, charged in December about one month before the convention. If you have questions about the deposit policy, please check our Hotel Deposit FAQ.

Registration Price Increases Coming
Arisia pre-registration prices are set to increase after September 30th. To register, or confirm you have a membership already - for example, from volunteer hours last year - visit Arisia's new registration site. There you can also verify your contact information, badge name, and security question, as well as agree to abide by the Code of Conduct which will speed up badge pick-up at con.

Pre-Registration Rates
Through 9/30 ................$50
10/1 through 12/31 .......$60

If you have any questions about the Reg process, or encounter any problems, please visit our Registration FAQ.

Arisia's New Web Site
The Arisia Web team has been hard at work building a better and more helpful Web site for the convention and it's now available and ready to help you get the most out of your Arisia. Check it out at www.arisia.org.

The site features new navigation, new organization of its content, more pictures, and easier access. Once the Arisia schedule is available it will be live on the site, updated via the KonOpas tool as changes come in. If you see any problems with the new site, or have any requests, email @email.

The Indie*Expo Is Returning
Arisia is bringing back a big hit from 2016, the Indie Game Expo - only this year, it will be bigger and better! Renamed the Arisia Indie*Expo, it will fold in the existing Artists Alley, along with comic authors and artists, makers, and of course, game designers of all stripes to come and display their projects.

For more information on the Arisia Indie*Expo, including how to get a table, check out the Indie*Expo signup page.

Masquerade Signup for 2018 is Now Open
You know the drill - great costumes, amazing workmanship, and all the staging you can handle. If you want to be part of the show this year, start by checking out our rules and then signing up on the new website.

DVDs of the Arisia 2017 Masquerade on sale
At last the Arisia 2017 Masquerade DVD is ready. There are two ways of getting it. If you're in a hurry, order from http://sydweinstein.net/DVDArisia.html for $9.95 plus shipping.

If you can wait until Arisia 2018, email dvd@sydweinstein.net and say how many you want. You can get these copies from Syd Weinstein during the Con on Saturday or Sunday in Grand Ballroom E for $10.00 cash.

Guest of Honor Spotlight: Mikki Kendall
Fan Guest of Honor
Mikki’s bio tells us she "... aspires to be an over-educated loudmouth with deep pockets. Failing that, she manages to be a periodic cyborg who masquerades as a person with a spouse, kids, and all the trappings of quasi-respectability. Once gainfully employed by an unnamed agency, she now invests her time in writing, wrangling jackasses on the Internet, and telling people to go straight to hell." And trust us, she lives up to that description. If you don’t already follow her on Twitter and subscribe to her Patreon you are missing out. Her stories are sometimes disturbing, often educational, and always entertaining. But it wasn’t just her writing that inspired us to invite her to be our Fan Guest of Honor. Mikki has dedicated many hours and large portions of her sanity to help fandom get its shit together, including as a past chair of WisCon. For that, and so many other things, we look forward to seeing her at Arisia and we hope you do too!

Volunteer
Arisia is run by fans for fans, and you can help out in big and small ways. Visit our Help Wanted page and fill out the volunteer sign-up form. Or just drop an email to @email with your skills and interests, and we'll get you started.
